Deuce Management & Promotion has recently collaborated with the new grass-roots music competition Global Icon. Global Icon has been created taking the best from social networking, streaming technologies, music competitions and reality TV then marrying them altogether. The result of this brings you a ‘state of the art’ online televisual competition for unsigned bands, music fans and social net workers alike.

Prior to the public launch of Global Icon later in the year, a pilot underground music competition called The Big Tease will be held focusing on all music styles. When bands and artists enter their tracks into the auditions, fans are presented with your tracks directly into their Playlist Manager. These are then rated by the fans and all tracks receiving 10 unique positive ratings are automatically entered into The Big Tease Competition. After the cut off date, the top four bands will be brought together in the UK to take part in the Global Icon TV programme. The show has been designed to bring the four bands/artists together centre stage so fans can decide the ultimate winner and will be broadcast to over 70 million homes throughout Europe on Propeller TV (SKY 195). If you do not have access to SKY, the show will also be streamed on Global Icon TV and made available for download for offline viewing.

Following the show, the fans will cast their final votes to determine which band wins The Big Tease and become the world’s first Global Icon giving them the opportunity to:

Tour the UK encompassing 3 of the UK’s biggest Universities and 14 leading live music venues across the country.

Be filmed at the events which your fans can then view and download at Global Icon

Receive specialist media training with on and offline PR

Have press kits designed and full promotional support sent out to hundreds of industry contacts resulting in further exposure through as many media channels as possible

Become the first Global Icon winner and remain in the Gi Hall of Fame microsite on Global Icon for all to see forever more!

The three runners up will also receive the Deuce Package which includes gigs, radio and TV exposure, press packs and plenty more.
