Deuce Management & Promotion is pleased to announce that Deuce Act Bedford received
the Best Rock Act Award at this year’s Hollywood Music In Media Awards (HMMA) which
took place on Thursday 18 November at The Highlands in the world famous Kodak Theater
complex in Hollywood, CA; home of The Oscars.
Based in Victoria, Australia, Bedford
were nominated for the Best Rock Act Award after judges heard their track Kinda Makes
Me Love You . Through winning this award, the band will have their material prioritised
for licensing opportunities to some of the biggest studios, networks, and advertising
agencies in the USA and around the world. Various opportunities are also likely to
come Bedford’s way through the prestige of winning the award and the exposure they
have received from it.

- Louise le Gry from the UK was nominated for Best Female Vocal Award .
Deuce has helped Louise le Gry with two radio campaigns since 2008 which has resulted in extremely positive feedback from presenters and listeners and has now seen her regularly being featured on the Deuce Radio Show . Her debut album Shadows still continues to surprise and delight people through her heart felt honesty and emotive sound and with this nomination, more listeners are expected to be drawn to her music following the initial 8,000 downloads of the album within the first 6 weeks of release.

- Spaceship Days from North Carolina, USA were nominated for Best Alternative Act Award
Spaceship Days have made remarkable progress on the US music scene since forming in 2009. In their short period together, the band have already supported the likes of REM and The Goo Goo Dolls and performed at the music event SXSW in Austin, Texas. On top of this, Spaceship Days have been featured on a number of radio stations worldwide including the Deuce Radio Show where they have become huge favorites.

- Sonic Adventure Project from Marchtrenk, Austria were nominated for the Best New
Age / Ambient Award
Sonic Adventure Project have been receiving mass exposure recently through inclusion on various compilation CDs, radio play on stations worldwide and featured in a number of adverts and films. Their exposure grew even further with the release of the motion picture "Solitary Man", starring Michael Douglas, Danny DeVito, and Susan Sarandon which their music is featured in too.
