Deuce Management & Promotion is pleased to announce that Deuce Act Jon Mullane has recently had his music featured on the TV show I Used To Be Fat which is broadcast on MTV.

Renowned for pumping up an audience with driving rock tunes that make you want to move, and power ballads that move you, Jon Mullane has been creating quite a stir in his home country of Canada. In 2008, his track Make You Move was picked by NBC TV for their Summer Olympic promos bringing Jon Mullane’s music to North America in a big way and resulting in the song being nominated for Single Of The Year at the East Coast Music Awards. In addition to this, his current album Shift has been embraced by radio stations across Canada contributing to it achieving instant chart success.

I Used To Be Fat is a new documentary series profiling teenagers in the USA desperate to shed their unwanted pounds before heading off to school. Each one hour episode focuses on a different student following them from their last weeks of high school to the first crucial days of college, giving viewers an inspirational and intimate account of their emotional and physical transformation.

Since submitting his music, Jon Mullane instantly had several tracks licensed for use in the series. His song
The One That Got Away was featured in episode 8 which you can view extracts from HERE. Another of Jon’s tracks called Make You Move is also slated for a forthcoming episode.

Most recently, the track The One That Got Away has received extensive commercial radio play across Canada and is a nationally charted Top 40 hit. What makes this even more remarkable is that Jon Mullane has achieved this independently without the need of a record label.
